A'Dakhliya Tour
A'Dakhliya with its eight wilayats is
regarded as a county for trade between the coast and the interior.
The region has a multitude of forts and watchtowers to guard the
caravans and a 17th century if the witness to the glorious past.
Nizwa being the trade capital is known as the "pearl of
Islam". For the visitor, mountains, wadis, handicrafts and
historical interests guarantee good sights and experiences.

- Bahla - Jabrin (Day Tour)
A journey to the past through the Sumail Gap that divides the Western
and Eastern Hajars and onto the Old Capital of Oman, Nizwa, famous
for its silver souq and big round fort.
After visiting the souq and fort, we take our lunch from a local
restaurant.
After lunch move to Bahla, renowned for it huge loam fort which
is under renovation at present. Bahla is also known as the pottery
capital of Oman. Bahla has been placed in the UNESCO's heritage
list because of its cultural value.
Next visit is Jabrin fort, where you will find one of the most magnificent
forts of Oman with its painted ceilings, dungeons, and hidden passages.
Return to Muscat in the evening.

Drive through Sumail Gap and Izki.
We drive to the roof of Oman the Saiq Plateau and enjoy the cool

Leave Muscat at 8 am.
Travel via Fanjah, Izki and Nizwa.
Stop at Nizwa for a stroll through the Old Capital of Oman
Drive to Al Hamra and stop at the old village of Ghul to see the
abandoned Persian ruins.
Travel up to the Canyon near the summit of Jebal Shams and feel
the cooler atmosphere
Picnic lunch near the rim
Visit the local weavers and haggle for their wares.
Return to Muscat late in the evening.

After Izki we drive up to the roof of Oman, the Saiq Plateau, which

Camp overnight near the rim of the Canyon. BBQ and campfire
