Golden Triangle (Delhi-Jaipur-Agra)
Day 01: Delhi
Arrival in Delhi, pickup from the railway station and drive
to Hotel, Check In the Hotel and enjoy the Dinner at night.
Day 2
After breakfast go for Delhi Sight seeing which Includes:
Qutub Minar: the 239ft sandstone tower is an
Indo-Islamic architectural wonder of ancient India. This magnificent
tower of victory stands in the Qutab Complex located at Aurabindo
Marg, near Mehrauli, 14 Km south of Connaught place in Delhi.
The complex has a number of other important monuments- the gateway
built in 1310, the Alai Darwaza, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque; one of
the oldest existing mosques in India, the tombs of Altamish, Alauddin
Khalji and Imam Zamin; the 2000 year old 7m high Iron Pillar-
the Alai Minar; another tower 27m high, the Madrasa or School,
great screen of Qutbuddin Aibak in the mosque etc.
India Gate : India
Gate is constructed as a memorial and was built in the memory
of 90,00 soldiers who laid down their lives during world war I.
Located at Rajpath, India Gate is 42 m high and is popular relaxation
area during the summer evenings. India Gate also act as popular
pinic spot during winter. Also known as the All India War Memorial,
India Gate was designed and constructed by Lutyens. He was the
who is considered the chief proclaimer in designing the New Delhi
plans.
Parliament House :Parliament House of Delhi,
commonly known as the Sansad Bhawan is situated at the end point
of the Sansad Marg in New Delhi. Parliament House is a circular
structure designed by Herbert Baker and was opened in 1927. The
huge structure of the Parliament House in Delhi has 247 pillars
with broad corridor. The Parliament House of New Delhi is the
Legislative Assembly of the country.
Lotus Temple : It is a very recent
architectural marvel of the Bahai faith, located in Kalkaji, south
of Delhi. Shaped like a half opened Lotus flower, this temple
is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. It is open to all
faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace
and tranquility. Bahai’s Temple is a marvel of modern architecture,
which is visible from several spots in south Delhi. The lotus
flower signifies purity and peace, a representation of the Manifestation
of God, to the people of India. This ancient symbol has been given
a modern and contemporary form in the structure of the Bahai House
of Worship drawing into its sanctum sanctorum people from all
races, religious backgrounds and culture from around the globe.
It represents the Bahai faith, - an independent world religion;
divine in origin, all embracing in scope, broad in its outlook,
scientific in its method, humanitarian in its principles, and
dynamic in the influence.
RajGhat : The memorial stone of Gandhi
is square in shape made of black stone. His last ward- 'Hey Ram'
is inscribed on it.Ordinary people, VIPs, foreign tourists all
come here at Rajghat to pay their homage to him. On every Friday
(the day of his death) a prayer is being held. Except Monday,
a regular feature of projecting Gandhi philosophy in picture,
sculpture and photos from 10-00 to 17-00 is being performed at
Rajghat. Besides, there is Gandhi Memorial Museum projecting his
life and the philosophy of Sarvodaya Movement in film from 9-30
to 17-30 except Thursday and on Sunday at 16-00 in Hindi and 17-00
in English.
Day 03: Delhi-Agra
After an early breakfast, leave for Agra which is 205 kms from
Delhi and about a four hour drive. Reach Agra and check in at
the Hotel. Post lunch you will be taken to visit the famous monument
of love- the Taj Mahal. This most famous Mughal
monument was constructed by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his
wife Mumtaz Mahal who died while giving birth to his 14th child
and after just 17 yrs of marriage. It has been described as the
most extravagant monument ever built for love. The central structure
has four small domes surrounding the huge central dome. The Taj
Mahal is not open to visitors on Fridays.
After the Taj Mahal, visit the Agra Fort which
lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of town.
It was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73
in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gats and walls
of red sandstone and a moat. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
The drive from Agra to Jaipur takes about 4 hours as the distance
is 238 kms. After breakfast visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute to Jaipur.
Fatehpur Sikri is the deserted red sandstone
city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace
in the 16th century. Upon arrival at Jaipur check in at the Hotel
and have some leisure time till evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Jaipur
Full day sightseeing and shopping in Jaipur. Visit the The
City palace in the heart of the old city which is the
former royal residence that houses a museum with a superb collection
of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs.
Near the Palace is Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory,
the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories.
Also visit the landmark of the “Pink City” the Hawa
Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies
of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the
street without being seen.
Evening can be spent in strolling in the many streets or lanes
of the Bazaar to pick up souvenirs and memorabilia. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 06 Jaipur -Delhi (265 kms) four hour drive.
Morning at leisure. Visit the famous Amber Fort and Palace
en route to Delhi.
The fort is a striking example of Rajput architecture situated
on a hill side and overlooking a lake, which reflects the fort’s
ramparts and terraces. Here you will be taken on an elephant back,
in the traditional royal style to the main gate of the Fort and
back. Reach Delhi by late evening and we will drop you either
at a Hotel / Home or the airport for onward journey.

and cancel your tour with a 50 % cancellation penalty for
Hotel and one day charges for the Vehicle . If you cancel
less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour time a 100%
cancellation penalty will apply.
